Hayden Panettiere Hot Gossips
Reed and former "Heroes" star Hayden Panettiere have signed on to star in a thriller called "Downers Grove," according to Variety. Based on the novel by Michael Hornberg and adapted for the screen by Bret Easton Ellis, the story follows a cursed Chicago high school that suffers the peculiar death of a senior each year before graduation. There's no word about which roles Reed and Panettiere will play, but the novel focuses on two main characters: Chrissie, a senior from a troubled home, and her sexually adventurous best friend, Tracy.
"Downers Grove" is set to begin production in the spring of 2011 in Louisiana — the same tax-friendly state where "Breaking Dawn" has set up shop. Nelson McCormick ("Prom Night") will direct, and Rebecca De Mornay also has taken on a role.
"The combination of the thriller genre, a very popular and well-known cast, Bret Easton Ellis' dynamic screenplay and Nelson McCormick's incredible skill with young actors and ability to create tension and terror on-screen is just unbeatable," said Kirk D'Amico, chief of Myriad Pictures, which acquired the rights to the property.
Panettiere has had mixed success on the big screen since her breakout turn on "Heroes": both "I Love You, Beth Cooper" and the animated children's tale "Alpha and Omega" tanked at the box office. Following the cancelation of "Heroes" earlier this year, she'll next be seen in "Scream 4." Reed, meanwhile, recently wrapped work on "Catch .44" opposite Bruce Willis and Malin Akerman, and will be busy with "Breaking Dawn" well into next year.
Paris and Hayden Love Jimmy Choo and H&M
Last night Hollywood rolled out the red carpet as Paris & Nicky Hilton, Hayden Panettiere, Kate Walsh, Olivia Wilde, Sheryl Crow, Cat Deeley, Angela Lindvall, Maggie Grace, Mini Anden, among others came out to celebrate the collaboration and the launch of the Jimmy Choo for H&M collection. The star-studded party hosted by Tamara Mellon and Jeffrey Katzenberg, in support of The Motion Picture & Television Fund, was held at a private residence high above the famous Sunset Strip in the Hollywood Hills and featured a Grammy-worthy performance by M.I.A. who dazzled the guests in front of the L.A. skyline. Hollywood’s stars were given an exclusive sneak peak at the glamorous collection that will be unveiled in approximately 200 H&M stores globally on November 14th. The collection includes the most coveted shoes and accessories. For the first time Jimmy Choo has also designed women’s clothing to complement the accessories as well as men’s clothing, shoes, bags and accessories.
"I love H&M already but the fact that they are doing Jimmy Choo as well I think is amazing - the purses, everything, the shoes. The clothes are so cute. They have so many fabulous things and I can't wait to get the whole collection,” said Paris Hilton who coveted everything from the highly anticipated collection.
"Tamara is so brilliant and such a wonderful designer. Her shoes are incredible. I do my shopping sprees at H&M. I was recently in Italy and instead of going to other stores, I went to H&M," said Hayden Panettiere. She also wore Jimmy Choo for H&M leather pants to the event. "I am in love with these pants!"

Emmys 2008 Dresses And Makeup Highlights
As always, watching the Red Carpet Shoe makes me wish the entire E! team would be fired and replaced. Preferably by mimes. But we're not here to discuss Giuliana Rancic and her vocabulary, are we?
It's always a bit weird: The stars are in full evening wear, all blinged and hair-sprayed out, but since the red carper arrivals are happening at 3-5 PM L.A. time, we see them in harsh daylight and it's probably a bit too hot for them to really feel comfortable. Sometimes it shows:

A more streamlined yellow dress was the one Mariska Hargitay was wearing. I love her, just not sure about the Sarah Palin hair:

Colorful dresses tend to steal the show and seem somehow more right at that time of the afternoon. There were several light aqua/sea foam colored dresses, as you can see on Jenna Fischer (Gustavo Cadile), Christina Applegate (Reem Acra) and Cynthia Nixon (Calvin Klein):

I like Brooke Shields too much to question the 80s glam of her dress (Badgley Mischka ):

Eva Longoria Parker was the most visible star who went with a short dress (Marchesa). Usually I dislike big bows on short women, but here it works, somehow:

I usually wait with the makeup recap until the day after, but since we're speaking of Eva I must comment on this so two years ago look, especially since I didn't like it in 2006, either. Too much black around the eyes, lips that are at least a shade too pale than healthy and the too-peachy blush that should have been named after J. Lo. I wish Eva would hire a new makeup artist, preferably of the Bobbi Brown school of thought.

Now, let's look at some black dresses, because you can't get more Hollywood than that. Debra Messing is gorgeous, but the dress (Monique Lhuillier), while pretty, seems a bit too much. It's a lot of goth drama for a hot L.A. night. And Kate Walsh is pulling off something most of us wouldn't (and shouldn't) attempt: horizontal stripes.

The next one isn't actually black, though it looked so in most photos and when I saw her briefly during the arrivals (I'm another one of those who didn't even consider watching the actual ceremony). I think Hayden Panetierre got it right with her midnight blue dress. Not many 18 year olds can look as polished and glamorous as this:

The Teens Chose Who Surfed Away With A Win
Gossip Girl and the Jo Bros struck gold.
David Beckham shared the award with his boys. (And cutie Cruz danced!)
LC and her Hills are still oh so popular.
Hayden Panettiere screamed with glee, loving her girl power.
Vanessa Hudgens is a hottie. (And obvs. Zac is too!)
Will Smith still rocks the summer screen and the teens know it.
Fergie and her braid looked amazing.
Ed Westwick is TV's best villian. (Chuck Bass - Heart!)
I must say it was a very fun-filled, entertaining evening!

All For The Kids

Would you try this at home?

Kate Hudson matched her eyeliner (lower lash!) to her electric blue dress for the L.A. premier of her new movie. She's gorgeous, but I'm getting so much 80s vibe I can practically smell Nancy Reagan.
Hayden Panettiere goes Dita Von Teese glam for an Old Navy event (that sentence alone is enough to raise eyebrows). Is it really a good look for an 18 year old girl?

Emmys 2007

Whoever dressed and styled Hayden Panettiere should be fired. The over-tanned Paris Hilton makeup might have been forgivable, if it wasn't for the Marc Bouwer maternity dress with enough extra fabric to hide half the cast of Heroes underneath. Why?
