Celebrity Weed Connection

Cameron Diaz and Snoop Dogg go way back.

So far back, they put the high in high school.

"We went to high school together," the said of her fellow Long Beach Polytechnic High School alum on Wednesday's Lopez Tonight. "He was a year older than me."

Diaz adds of Snoop, who has not lost his passion for the herb, and even has a medical marijuana card now, that "I was green even in high school!"

Molly Shannon Says She Looks Up To Cameron Diaz

Molly Shannon Says She Looks Up To Cameron Diaz

Molly Shannon and Cameron Diaz spent some time together during the filming of “Bad Teacher” over the summer in L.A., and it seems that Cameron left quite an impression on her co-star. Molly shared:
“She’s a real pro, and I really look up to her. She’s going to kill it in this movie, and she’s the perfect person to play the bad teacher,”
“She has a great sense of humor, she’s just a blast! We hung out and talked a lot and laughed. She’s a real girl’s girl,”

The film isn’t due out until next summer, but it just sounds like it’s going to be good!
Molly is keeping busy – she is currently starring on Broadway in “Promises, Promises” with Kristin Chenoweth.
“I’m having the time of my life!”

Cameron Diaz And Alex Rodriguez Hit The Town

Cameron Diaz And Alex Rodriguez Hit The Town

I don’t know if they’re moving in together or not, but I think it’s clear that the romance is still very much alive and well between Cameron Diaz and Alex Rodriguez (aka A-Rod).

It doesn’t look like Cameron was too tired from her ‘Green Hornet’ promotional duties to hit the club in Miami last night. Cameron keeps it simple but sexy in black skinny jeans, a blazer, and stilettos. You can never go wrong with black.  (imnotobsessed)

Cameron Diaz Hot Gossips

hot and sexy cameron diaz, hot cameron diaz wallpapers and photos, hot cameron diaz in bikini, hot cameron diaz boobs/breastsThe day of the puppets has come at last (or so it would seem from recent news out of Hollywood.) In addition to the star-studded Muppet film The Greatest Muppet Movie Ever Made, we have some potential blockbuster casting news on the dark comic puppet film The Happytime Murders.

As we wrote in our first description of the film in October, the movie “depicts an alternate reality where puppets are sentient beings that live alongside humans. The puppets exist as “second class citizens” to the humans, and when the cast of an 80s puppet TV show, ‘The Happytime Gang,’ begin to turn up dead, an alcoholic ex-cop puppet turned private detective must solve the murders with his human ex-partner.”

All in all, it’s a pretty intriguing premise, and something that I would definitely be interested in seeing. Then again, I could listen to the soundtrack to Avenue Q everyday and never get tired of it, so I’m probably the ideal target for this movie.

Considering the somewhat unusual nature of the movie, could it click with general audiences? Perhaps, if you add a legit A-list star like Cameron Diaz. According to Vulture, Diaz has been offered a role in the film. There is no word yet on whether she has read the script or made a decision either way, but it’s still an interesting piece of news. For one thing, it begs the question of who Diaz might be playing.

In most crime movies, there’s a femme fatale character — somebody who cozies up to the lead and throws a wrench into his plans. Smart money says the role Cameron Diaz was offered fits into that category. On the other hand, the writers may have flipped the script and made a woman the human ex-partner, in which case Diaz could be up for that part.

Whatever the case, it’s nice to see a big name attached to such a unique project. Vulture has some details on the script and it sounds like the filmmakers are really shooting for an R-rating. That’s good to hear. Sometimes, with all of the mundane sequels, remakes, and retreads, it feels like nobody in Hollywood is willing to take a chance with their movie. The Happytime Murders could be an awesome movie that bucks that trend.

Cameron Diaz breaks up with Alex Rodriguez

hot and sexy alex rodriguez, hot alex rodriguez wallpapers and photosHollywood actress Cameron Diaz has reportedly ended her relationship with baseball star Alex 'A-Rod' Rodriguez.

Cameron was first rumoured to be dated Alex back in February, when they were spotted together at a Super Bowl party, not long after Alex broke up with Kate Hudson.

But their relationship was rumoured to be in trouble when Cameron was spotted out with Glee star Matthew Morrison.

According to Life & Style magazine, Cameron and Alex have split up.

A source told the publication, "Cameron and A-Rod are no longer dating and have definitely parted ways."

Analyze This

I get that Rihanna is a young, beautiful pop star. This status definitely allows for some questionable fashion choices. The goddess of teenage girls remembers Madonna circa 1984 and the millions of fans who ran out to but fingerless lace gloves and tied ratty ribbons in their hair (for the record, I never had a buckle that said "Boy Toy", just so you know).

Now, I like the combination of a sweet but sexy corset and those punk cuffs. I can also deal with Rihanna's shoes and with the concept of wearing tons of makeup (I would never tell Chrissie Hynde to go easy on the eyeliner). But that lipstick color is just way too much and would look tacky on anyone outside of the pop star context, especially when worn with that nail color.

Speaking of tacky, Ashlee Simpson, who otherwise looks very pretty here has ruined the whole thing with these sandals. I love colorful shoes and orange is one of my favorite colors, but this pair just looks cheap to me. Interestingly enough, Cameron Diaz wore the same footwear, only in white, to the same event, 20th Annual Nickelodeon's Kids' Choice Awards last Friday, where she was photographed all shiny-faced.

Opinions? Help me see the light?

Quote/Question of the Day

"Does a girl ever get tired of being told she’s pretty? It’s when you’re told ‘You’re much prettier than you look in photos.’ How are you expected to respond? ‘That’s because you saw some sleazebag photo of me loading up my car in my gym clothes?’ Is it a compliment? You look half-human in real life? It’s a weird one.” - Cameron Diaz

(It's true though ... She really doesn't photograph that well. She looks way better up close and personal!)

Rise & Shine?

I don't know what it is with the shiny faces we've been seeing lately. Is there a shortage of quality face products in Hollywood? Do they need us to ship them primers and powder? In any case, Cameron Diaz is still the poster girl for the damage caused by free radicals. Click on the photo to see it up close.

All For The Kids

The orange carpet was all a buzz this past weekend as the stars turned out for Nickelodeon's Annual Kids Choice Awards Saturday night. Miley Cyrus showed up with her peace sign in tow, Rihanna and Chris Brown once again denied that they are actually a couple and Cameron Diaz fit right in with the young crowd. Hosted by Jack Black and his many a green outfit, the most coveted prize of the night, the honor of getting slimed, went to Indiana Jones himself, Harrison Ford, as well as Pirates star Orlando Bloom.

A Closeup On Oscar Looks

Today I'm almost happy that I haven't joined the HDTV crowd just yet.

My planned post for today was a more in-depth discussion of the Oscar hair and makeup looks. I did the red carpet live blogging last night based on what I could see on my modest sized regular TV screen. Today I have already gotten emails asking for specifics, how-tos and general advice about achieving a super glam look. To reply them and for my own post I started going through the closeup photos on Just Jared.

Short answer: Don't do it. Please.

You all know that there's often a big difference between gorgeous and elaborate makeup for a special night out or even a big event when you are face to face with people, and a camera-ready look. When it's "real", you don't want to appear caked-up and painted. You don't want to look artificial and you don't want to scare children and small animals. Notice the "you don't want" theme. What else you don't want? Cameron Diaz skin:

Except for serving as a warning for the hazards of smoking and sun exposure, I'm not sure what good is this picture.

Heidi Klum was the glamorous of them all, right? The most exuberant dress, the most done hair, the furriest creature that died for her eyelashes... She also wears way too much bronzer.

Something that I see in most of the pictures is the old trick of dabbing a very shimmery eye shadow in the inner corner of the eyes. This is a good highlighting technique as long as you don't abuse it. Nars have many colors that would work well here. I'd suggest to avoid real metallic silver. It's just too much and tends to look sci-fi.

If you're not playing up your eyes too much, consider a bold red lipstick. Katherine Heigl got it almost right. Except for the extra bronzer and the smoker's skin, that is.

I have full respect for Tilda Swinton's choice of wearing a dress that doesn't cling or reveal anything she doesn't want to show and not making it about her cleavage. I can also deal with a no-makeup look. I hesitated about even posting her picture, because I don't want this to be a discussion of her wrinkles. Ms. Swinton is 47 and opts not to do botox. It shows, but in my opinion (and I'm very pro-botox and surgery. In five to 10 years you'll find me at the doctor's office regularly), it's a better look than whatever taxidermy procedure that creates the face we've come to recognize as Renée Zellweger.
All this was just the escape clause for the following: Tilda still needs mascara.

To end on a positive note, Anne Hathaway looks perfect with a luminous and balanced makeup. Not too much on the eyes and not too little on the lips. Of course, she's also twenty five, so how hard is it to look great at that age (very, if my memory serves me right, but that's not really relevant)?

Instead, let's look at a few 30-something faces that actually got it right: a very black volumizing mascara (and probably some individually glued lashes), some highlight on the eye and a my-lips-only-better lip color:

All images except the ridiculous first one are from Just Jared, where you can try facing the real closeups at your own risk.
